Yeah, Chelsea was at their best yesterday and for the first time I'm scared as a Liverpool fan. The energy and their tenacity to defend at every point on the pitch including midfield and in the attack, giving Juve no breathing space stood them out, I've never seen Chelsea putting up such high octane work rate in my 5decades of life. However putting James above Trent no matter how many times he has scored this season is unacceptable. Both of them are presently in the form of their lives and their focal points are different. Liverpool might be weaker diffensively than Chelsea but offensively we're better and we can attribute that to one major factor, the Trent factor. He's a goal creator. The scoring part of James can easily be deactivated when Chelsea face a team like ManCity or Liverpool. They'll keep him very busy at the defense, he won't think of coming out to score and that's what's the difference between a Juve and a Liverpool or ManCity team.

Not a single Liverpool fan compared Trent to Reece James when Trent got another 2 assists at the weekend. But everytime James does anything the 1st player mentioned is Trent? Must be the benchmark or something. Anyway James is a wingback not full back, Tuchel even called him a midfielder, he needs to do it for longer than a quarter of a season to be better than Trent who has been world class for 4 years lol

Can we just play TAA and Reece James in the same team please southgate. Reece James has a shot like carlos and is built like cafu insane. Trent is getting numbers unseen before creative wise from a defensive position we are truly blessed. If we don't win anything nationally with these young players there's no hope for England.
Switch Pulisic and CHO’s position today and Pulisic would have done at least what CHO did. Pulisic isn’t a ST or F9 and much of the time he was playing as such in front of Ziyech. On top of the fact, Juve was squeezing very hard in the middle and leaving the wide areas more open. I thought Pulisic had a solid game. Not sure what game this guy watched. Even the CHO goal, Pulisic allows RLC to get clear and lay off a sitter for CHO.
Chelsea defends with 5 defenders so defending will be easier cause they have more cover for the CBs, they even have more defenders than strikers and attacking mids that obviously tells you where the priorities lies

On Reece James and TAA: I would say that Trent is world class (due to the amount of time he’s been performing at this level) and that Reece is a world class talent. Simply because Chelsea fans have known what he has to offer for a while but outsiders – and even CFC fans who haven’t been following him since his academy days – have no idea how talented this kid is, and it will take time for them to see it for themselves. I’ve been saying since last season that Reece has so much more to offer.
However, when you’re a young player and your competition is the club captain, you have to play it safe sometimes to assure that you are reliable. Now we see Reece being more assured, taking responsibility and showing his talent, and there is more to come. He has always been touted as the most talented Chelsea player in his age group. I personally think that, in the long run, people will recognise James as the more well rounded of the two but I think both Reece James and TAA will be seen as two of the best RBs of their generation – and we can’t forget about Cancelo because he is amazing as well.
