We were just unlucky. We do need another attacker but the formation isn’t the problem. We will need it against low blocks anyway.

The solution to Madrid's middle of the park dilemma is Camavinga,Tchouameni and Bellingham. Ever since Ancelotti started dropping Tchouameni Real have looked suspect at times. As much as Modric and Kroos have served the club well, they are not the answer to Madrid's problems. They can start in league matches but not in the crucial stages of the CL because they simply don't have the legs at this point in their careers to be going at it like that.
