I hope there was something more than we know working in the background,. This is a complex operation. I think it's always clear of what kind of player we actually needed but small headroom of funds will intersect our visions ahead with pragmatism.

But we need an advanced midfielder much more than a defensive midfielder. Locatelli can play as a defensive midfield. We need someone with the likes of Pogba. Colpani and Samardzic are both promising contenders and they can held in the attacking midfield. Also, they are at a cost that we can surely afford. I expect a fee of at least 50 million euro for selling Iling Jr and Soule. Not even one euro less.
Dear beppe, I'm not particularly convinced about Philips for some reason, I hope I can be proven wrong if he does arrive. I'm a bit sad with the thought of selling soule, but what to do.

Personally speaking, I'd only ever sign players that have already played in Serie A in January. As you say, it's essential that they hit the ground running. I'd also never sign a British player full stop. Avoid at all costs, unless we are truly desperate & sign him for 6 months only. It's a big no for me though.

No to Kalvin, I’m sorry but it pains me to say that Inter is just too strong this season to catch. Would rather keep developing the young guys instead of a rent a player who is going to hinder that.
Kalvin is not a bad player but one overhyped and once dubbed "Yorkshire Pirlo" as per usual by the Brits in that Euro match at home to Croatia. This could be Pogbroken 2.0 and one should not be surprised by the club not learning any lessons. Like Flimsey, he is made of glass and his injury record even back to Leeds is not encouraging. Huijsen to frosinone is good solution. Yildiz behind the Strikers is my dream and i hope he takes his chance. Philpps is a good business if we dont have the money for a long term player
Phillips yes only if he is the only option. Soule? I still believe in him. Vlahovic should play if only so the he can prove to himself that he is a bomber. The race with inter is not over and the match in home was to say to our players that we should fight.

If we are bringing in a midfielder, we need someone creative. Samardzic should be clear favorite, and deal with udinese shouldn't be hard to seal. Give them Illing or Miretti

I think you are wrong with saying we are not investing in future with Kalvin. If he plays good, we have option to buy but Ragazzi we have Fagioli for next season that will play regista maybe, we also have other players we monitor. We take him 6 months, no rish, if he is flop he goes back ciao pozz. If he is good, then Juve can say, we like him, we want to buy. I really like what Giuntoli is doing, just hope Kalvin can adapt to Italy fast
