Rudy

  1. I get that Rudy loves Notre Dame football and grewq up watching them and all that, but why didn't he try to get into a smaller school witha football program first so that he could play and then maybe eventually get into Notre Dame?

  2. Movies we grew up on. You can watch more than once . A movie if you need a feel good moment. It brings you back to your childhood. Of kids playing outside . Creating memories with buddy’s . That hopefully will last a lifetime. I know me and my brothers had that . 30 years later . We still have some of those buddies. Some got lost along the way. But the memories will last forever. I can remember when the street lights would come on at night . We would know it’s time to go home . We never made a million bucks in this lifetime. But we played and lived like we did . My parents being together my whole life teaching me to be the person. I’m today . I try to teach anyone around me to slow down. Because it goes so fast . I would trade everything I know to go back to a backyard football game again. Not a care in the world. Thanks to This movie we can go back in time .

  3. PSA the coach was not the bad guy in real life he actually had no problem what so ever with rudy playing, there was no resistance, no animosity, no team walkout threats… the studio wanted to make it sensational, and the real life coach agreed to the "slander" to help the story get out.

  4. He wasn't just following his dream. It was essentially part of his purpose. To prove to those around him.
Serendipitous events falling into place such as meeting the right people, getting ideas to speak to specific people or take specific actions all a part of the flow when following your purpose that benefits humanity overall.

  5. Great movie to watch during college. I had a bear experience like Rudy but not football but education challenges. I was in special ed all my elementary school to high school. And all my challenges like slow learning and dyslexia kicked in during college and there were times I wanted to quite. But this movie helped me push through college. Watch it when you’re stuck in college.
